The hotel has a neat industrial-chic feel. The staff were friendly. The fitness center was well equipped and the condition of the equipment was very good. I was charged an erroneous charge at the bar and the staff corrected it.

I like that the location was in short walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Bed was very comfortable. Nice lounge area.

A Great Location. the room was beautiful. Extra comfortable bed. The staff couldn't have been better or more helpful. Loved that they provided bottled water every day. ANd the room had a tea kettle in addition to the Nespresso maker, Nice!

Overall great elegant place. Being a decorator the details are what matter to me. Nice touch with a clock in the room on the nightstand that had the correct time. Tons of extra towels with washcloths. Valet service for the car. I don’t like rain head showers but the shower was large enough that you could step out of it and not get your hair wet if you didn’t want and still take a nice shower. The lounge and bar area is quite lovely.

Overall great hotel, but online I booked Mountain View room was given courtyard city view room. Online states a mini bar & room service. The room had neither one of those. So all 3 were reasons I picked this hotel & got none of 3 things I wAnted for $700/night Location was excellent.

Beautiful upscale decor, modern with a nod to the historic context of the building and district. The adjacent Benne restaurant reflected a similar ambience, and the food, locally inspired and sourced was very good. With few exceptions, the staff were very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect for easy walking access to restaurants and galleries in the historic downtown district. It was also easy to navigate in and out of Asheville to enjoy local attractions.
